Volunteers Make the Difference
At Samaritan Hospital, volunteers are vital members of our healthcare team. From surgical services ... to the emergency department ... to medical imaging, our corps of volunteers can be found in just about every department of our hospital donating their time, energy and talents.
Volunteers assist in a variety of assignments, including:
- patient and family care
- staff support (sharing expertise in the areas of computers, business and human resources
- information desk
- gift shop
Do you have what it takes?
Our volunteers range in age from teens to seniors. Hospital volunteers are patient, caring individuals who welcome the opportunity to assist others whenever possible. They realize that volunteering in any situation takes time and special effort.
Volunteering has its rewards.
As a volunteer, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you're making a difference in people's lives everyday. And, you'll know that what you're doing is essential and valued.
