Kristen Cooke listens carefully and orders tests to make a good diagnosis. She ordered the test that found my kidney cancer in its early stages 16 years ago, and has helped me maintain an A1-C between 6.0 to 6.5 for 13 years by referring me to a diabetic education program. Here I learned how to use diet and exercise to keep my diabetes under control. I come from a family of type 2 diabetics who were insulin dependent. I wish their treatment had included this help. Kristin helps me manage my health by referring me to appropriate specialist as needed for treatment and/or follow-up. I like being able to stay in touch about concerns via Trinity Health My Chart. It is easy to use and my non-urgent concerns are answered directly through the messaging tab provided and I can review lab reports and check appointments.
