I hadn't met Dr Rahman prior to my surgery so meeting him just before the surgery put my mind at ease because he was so kind and caring, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Rahman sometimes comes into the exam room 30 minutes or more after the appointment time. This is annoying but not a serious problem.

Doctor Rahman is the best. He gave me a detailed, friendly explanation of my kidney stone surgery on 8/12. Upon recovery, I haven't experienced any pain or other complications. On 8/27, he removed my stent. Again, a very detailed and friendly explanation of this procedure was given. I was also given detailed diet information on how to reduce occurrence of any further kidney stones. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon and professional.

I fall in the rarity category of post TURP complications with bladder contracture. Dr Rahman, I believe, is doing his best to correct the issue. My bladder opening has a propensity to overly scar and close. Even after months of daily self catheterization, successfully, and then weaning off, the contracture - closure comes back. I guess if I’m a rare case at least I’m unique!
