She was kind, professional and is responsive after visit with discussing labs and instructions. I am not sure she understood what my symptoms were that I was trying to explain, but the ones bothering me the most were not in her clinical notes. .

Dr. Usmani is an excellent listener and explains things clearly. I’m very grateful to have found her several years ago. She has helped me lower my A1C and is always helpful and accessible when I have questions. Even with the shortage of endocrinologists nationwide and in Albany, she makes time to respond to emails and provide thoughtful care. The other staff in the office, are wonderful too. This is a reflection of the positive and supportive office environment.

I am very confident with the care that I am getting from Dr. Usmani to address the health issues that I have and to treat them to the best of her ability. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, which may be different each time I see her. She then explains, in a way that is easy to understand (not technical), how she would like to address the issue (or issues). If she is going to recommend an additional test or bloodwork or change of medication strength, she explains why it is necessary. I am able to ask questions to clarify things, and I feel that I am not rushed during her appointments. I have thanked my primary care physician a few times for sending me to her to treat my hyperparathyroidism.
