Dr DeSantis is truly caring. He treats you like an old friend that you have known for years. I am always very much at ease when I go for check ups, and that is due to his demeanor.

I needed an echo my primary sent it to wrong doctor.I called dr DeSantis inQueensbury office .the office manager at Queensbury ( Amanda ? Not sure on name ) got me in that day ! It’s run great ! It is very reassuring to have a doctor with a lifetime of experience and knowledge and also is so down to earth and easy to talk with.
Dr. Desantis takes the time to explain things to me and makes me feel valued as a patient. He is also on time with his schedule which is rare.

He gives the patient his undivided attention. Listens carefully. And is not distracted by paying attention to a computer. He says he went to medical school to practice medicine, not be a data entry clerk for the insurance companies.

I'd be lying if I said that the cardiologist didn't scare me at first. But I've been going to Dr. Desantis for quite a while now, and I now don't feel anxious about what is going to happen. It's so refreshing to have my meds under control, my blood pressure is regulated and the best part of all of it I've lost a substantial amount of weight; not by meds, but because I have worked extra hard, changing my eating habits, exercising, and working with my doctors to do it. Dr Desantis and the staff are always so supportive, and I can't say enough good things.
