As a nurse I have worked with Dr Nolan at Ellis Hospital for years. As his patient I am very safe in his care. He is very bright, professional and thorough. He always answers my questions fully and to my understanding.
As usual, he is warm and friendly, listens carefully, gives great advice, takes the time to clearly explain any of his concerns, and really knows his specialty thoroughly.
He has been great over the years, including this year!

Dr. John Nolan is very knowledgeable, he listens to my concerns and explains things in a way I can understand. I feel very fortunate to have him as my cardiologist for over 25 years. He's always there for me when I have an issue. he Shows empathy and concern for my issues. In my opinion, he epitomizes what is needed in a medical doctor.
While Dr. Nolan is outstanding, your new computer system needs work. It really slows things down.

Dr Nolan takes time to listen to you and thoroughly explains everything in terms i could understand l. He is the most compassionate and caring physician i have ever had.
Dr Nolan takes the appropriate time needed. He never rushes through the appointment. He has a great attitude and is able to always explain what he is interpreting from tests in easy to understand terms.
Blunt and to the point but explains what is OK and what things are not OK for the patient. I trust him completely..

Dr. Nolan has a wonderful bedside manner. I had a medical episode that brought me to the Ellis ER and upon discharge was told I needed to follow up with cardiology and neurology. Two days later his office called me to set up a nuclear stress test which happened 3 weeks later.

I really like Dr. Nolan......he's very comfortable to be around......he puts me at ease, which isn't always easy when I'm at the drs. He doesn't sugar coat things but, he explains in a way that keeps me calm. He's very smart and also, open to my questions and suggestions about my meds. I feel like he really pays attention to me! He doesn't rush me either.....

I've know Dr. Nolan when he treated my Dad in the late 1980's and was extremely impressed with him. When I was in need of a cardiologist I requested him to treat me. He is an extremely competent doctor, puts his patients first, is on top of all my issues and is compassionate and is very honest. He is a great role model for all cardiologists.
