St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates has welcomed Jesse Hollis, DO, FACS, to St. Peter's Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and General Surgery, expanding access to advanced surgical care for patients throughout the Capital Region.

Dr. Hollis is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. His clinical expertise includes hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, as well as a broad range of complex gastrointestinal and general surgical procedures. Minimally invasive surgical techniques can help reduce pain, shorten hospital stays, and support faster recovery for many patients.

Prior to joining St. Peter's Health Partners, Dr. Hollis practiced with St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam and Bassett Healthcare Network in Cooperstown. While at Bassett, he served as a faculty member in the General Surgery Residency Program and held an academic appointment as assistant professor of surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, helping educate and train future surgeons.

Dr. Hollis earned his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, where he received advanced training in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques.

A graduate of the University at Albany, Dr. Hollis has deep roots in the Capital Region and is pleased to return to the area to provide advanced surgical care for local patients and families.

As part of St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates, Dr. Hollis joins a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and gastrointestinal tract.
