Dr. Katherine Mager Joins Women’s Cancer Care Associates

St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates is pleased to welcome Katherine Mager, MD, to Women’s Cancer Care Associates, where she provides specialized care in gynecologic oncology.

Board-certified in obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecologic oncology, Dr. Mager brings extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of gynecologic cancers.

Dr. Mager earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Jefferson University in Philadelphia and her bachelor's degree from Columbia University in New York City. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Medical Center and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, also in New York City.

Prior to joining Women’s Cancer Care Associates, Dr. Mager served as a faculty member in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

Her professional interests include the treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers; complex gynecologic surgery; minimally invasive surgical techniques; care for young adults with cancer, including fertility-sparing surgery; surgical quality improvement; and hereditary cancer syndromes.
