I won the luck lotto getting in with Kristen. It's rare that providers-especially Medicaid providers-take the time to listen and take your thoughts into consideration. Kristen treats me like a human. If the answer is no she will explain why-which is important. She has never denied me a referral. She seems to genuinely care about her patients. They aren't just a number to move in and out as fast as possible and throw any drug at. She is kind but I also feel that she wouldn't tolerate any manipulation either. She has helped me immensely in the past year and together we have fixed many issues I had been ignoring because I didn't want to be treated like an addict. She is amazing and I hope to remain her patient for years to come. Also the rest of her nursing staff are down to earth, kind, caring and non judgemental listeners as well. That means a lot. That's the difference between coming to my appointments and making the required changes and putting in the work or blowing off the appointment to avoid attitude and stigma.

I love that my medicab picks me up an hour early for my appointment so I'm usually very early when i arrive. Last time my appointment was at 1130. I was in and out before 1130. They don't make me wait around just because they can. Oh,and they knock a few pounds off the scale reading for "shoes,thick jeans and a bulky hoodie"-you KNOW that makes my day.....every time.
