About
Dr. Kevin McCracken is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, New York.
Dr McCracken has extensive surgical and academic training along with a broad experience in the treatment of adult and adolescent patients with spine disorders. Over the past 25+ years, he has completed more than 10,000 spine procedures ranging from minimally invasive procedures to complex reconstructive surgery for scoliosis and spinal deformity. He has also served as a spine trauma surgeon at a Level 1 Trauma Center for over 10 years. He has been in practice since 1997 in New Jersey and Florida before relocating to the Capital Region.
Dr. McCracken firmly believes in his mission to care for each individual patient and their total well-being, taking pride in providing compassionate, understanding, and supportive care. He has traveled to the Dominican Republic where he donated his medical services to perform spinal surgery on underprivileged children and adults in that country.
In his leisure time, Dr. McCracken enjoys spending time with his family and running with his dogs.
