She was great! No communication/ follow up with me from my August call left me with very little time to get release for today's procedure.
The provider was very nice and professional, but she basically looked at my blood pressure score and gave me a script for a drug. There are a lot of blood pressure meds and I would hope that a better understanding of the patient and perhaps an attempt to understand why my blood pressure has suddenly gone up would be the better course of action before prescribing a medication.
Based on my first encounter with her, I would not hesitate to be seen by her in the future. She did not poo-poo my questions or concerns as 鈥榦ld age's but as a caring NP explaining her answers in a way I could understand.

I was very pleasantly surprised by her warmth, the time she took to explain things that no-one else had mentioned, and by her willingness to hear me out on what I thought would be good for my body - I usually don't feel respected in medical situations...I feel mostly talked at, and with her I felt that she really cared, wanted to know what I thought was best for me, and alsowanted that too.
She is very friendly, attentive and thorough. I would recommend Allysia to anyone.
