About
Dr. Ahsan received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During medical school, she completed a year of research training in cholesterol metabolism at the National Institute of Health as part of the Medical Research Scholars Program. She completed a Cardiology fellowship at Albany Medical Center where she was the recipient of the Joseph T. Doyle Endowed Award in Cardiology.
Dr. Ahsan 's professional interests include: lipidology, prevention, coronary artery disease, heart failure and valvular heart disease.
