WAMC: Medical Monday – Palliative Care with Dr. Catherine Adams

Catherine Adams, M.D., Ph.D., chief of palliative medicine at St. Peter’s Hospital, appeared on WAMC’s Medical Monday.

Dr. Adams discussed helping families manage the symptoms and stress of serious illness, the importance of establishing a health care proxy and living will, and why the holidays are a great opportunity to discuss one’s medical wishes with family.
