He asked questions and listened to my responses. I was referred to call Sunnyview in Schenectady which I did when I got home. They called me back to let me know they had to research records and they wouldn't see me for at least a month. It didn't sound too positive.
I left my initial consultation knowing that I am in good hands.

I wish he spent more time explaining my condition and the medication since this is new to me and I want to know as much as possible about it.

Dr Khan took me back as a follow up patient and his staff got me into an urgent appt slot. He was thorough doing my exam but then the wait for additional imaging and testing is frustrating. I suffer a lot of pain and my main relief is lying on my back, I'm barely functional some days. So I appreciate the swiftness of the appt, the fact Dr Khan reviewed my chart before seeing me, his exam was thorough, now the wait seems so long.

He understood I didn't always know what he was explaining so when I asked he put it in terms I could understand. He would laugh at some of the funny things I would say. Like because I have a balance problem people think I'm drunk because of the way I walk sometimes. I told him "I wish but I gave up alcohol & cigarets a long time ago".
